PhD Simposium "Three Minute Thesis"

Outline

In its 2025 edition, the PhD Symposium of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid will have two different stages. In the first phase, PhD students will submit their thesis in a video of a maximum of 3 minutes, which will be exhibited on a public platform. From all the videos submitted, a jury will select up to a maximum of 16 finalists for the entire Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, who will participate in the final on 2 June 2025.

Now you have the opportunity to attend the final of the Doctoral Symposium 2025 and hear first-hand about the main technological innovations that will soon be presented as Doctoral Theses at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Syllabus

Master's students would attend the presentations of the 16 finalists, that will take place on 2 June in the auditorium of the Rectorate of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Assessment Method

Each Master's student must attend the 16 presentations, select 3 of the works presented and write an abstract of between 150 and 250 words each. The abstract can be presented in Spanish or English and must be sent in PDF to the Master's email before 9 June.
